Hoosier Feathered Friends’ November Meeting will be on Zoom Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 2pm and our Guest Speaker will be Heidi Hellmuth! She will be presenting “Overcoming Fear. Strategies for Working with Nervous Animals and Dealing with Unwanted Behaviors.”
From Heidi, “This presentation focuses on techniques and strategies for working with nervous or skittish animals. Starting with learning about the animal and steps on building a positive relationship, to how to use ‘animal sense’ to work with and around them more successfully. It includes specific strategies for introducing enrichment with fearful animals, techniques for training nervous or fearful animals, and ideas for dealing with unwanted behaviors.”

HFF Meetings are online (via Zoom) only for the first two months of each quarter.
The third meeting for March, June, September, & December will be an in-person meeting at Bird Fever, 5921 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46250
